Race results and Pointscore
The
summer race season for 2008/2009 will start on Thursday 6th
November. The first race will be a time trial event over the 14k
course, and will give us an idea of how people are going for the
handicap events. This will be followed by a FREE Bar-B-Q at
Wahroonga Park after the race. There will be no pointscore during
the summer season, but we will still be giving out pizza and garlic
bread prizes from Eagle Boys.

A reminder to all riders of the need to obey ALL road
laws during races - we are very fortunate to have the use of local roads
for our races, and DO NOT need to have residents complaining about
riders strung across the road, especially in the finishing straight.
Riders ARE NOT to ride 4 or 6 across the road as it endangers everyone.
Also, if you haven't worked a turn at the front, you have no real
entitlement to be up there in the sprint. It's very poor sportsmanship
and very frustrating for the riders who have done their fair share of
the work, to see fresh riders sprinting past them in the finish. This
isn't Le Tour, and you're not Robbie McKewen!

Winter Race Season
The winter season has now been finalised and
congratulations to all who competed over what was a good season of
racing. Raymond Wheeler emerged as a clear winner, but as the table shows,
the positions for minor placings was much tighter
